The charitable foundation “RISE GMI” is going to give a GUARANTEEED MINIMUM INCOME (GMI) to some struggling people in 3 counties in the United States. The income will be $1,500 per month for 16 straight months to 550 low-income individuals or families in Mercer County, West Virginia, 550 in Beaufort County, North Carolina, and 550 families or individuals in Warren County, Mississippi. Last month, MHSAA Executive Director Rickey Neaves stated "NIL is NOT for high school students."
